After using fine liner before and struggling with it, I wanted to try to create some studies using it. Some people may think this is a stupid idea, however I don't want to avoid using it in my work, I want to use a range of mediums, not just stick to two. Therefore I started to create small observational studies on the parts of the leaf that had really interested me. Overall I feel that this study has highly benefitted me. Whilst I still don't like to draw in fine liner, I feel that it has given me a lot more confidence when drawing with fine liner. I feel that my drawing skills have been developed, being confident with the mediums you use often turns out with better drawings. Therefore I am pleased with the results of this page.
