Netting

I really adore the texture and the look off the picture above. It was a picture of the netting that protects oranges but I think it could be used for anything. It can be protecting anything, the texture is amazing and the vibrant colour enhances it. I decided to draw this in biro as I thought that it would allow me to create movement within the piece. I started on the left by drawing the netting large, I am really happy with how this piece turned out, I feel that I have successfully created the movement that I wanted to. The second piece in incredibly small, I wanted to focus on texture therefore it end up being really small. I dislike this piece because it is too small, you have to look closely at it otherwise you would simply overlook it. I feel that the third drawing is the best, I have combined the detail from the second drawing and the larger scale from the first to create an overall effect of movement. To conclude, I am happy with this page, I feel have studied the netting in detail. However, the vibrant colour of the netting was the first thing that caught my attention but I did not draw it in colour at all. Therefore, I would like to use such mediums as water colours to create the beautiful colour represented within the piece.
