A CHANGE...
After doing some studies on the topic of magnification and looking at different artist that have interested me, such as Lee Krasner, I have had a change of mind. I just don't feel inspired by magnification, it's hard to talk about, whilst studying the topic of layers I could freely talk about all the different interpretations that could be made. However, I feel that stuck, held down by the word magnification. Although other people may find the topic very interesting and amazing to study, I just feel like it's holding me down. Therefore I decided to look at the other topics again. The main one I couldn't stop thinking about was indistinct, I feel that it is such an exciting wide topic, with span of ideas to talk about. I first picked magnification because when I looked at it, loads of idea sprang to my head about photography. Although it does relate well to the topic of magnification, I felt I did not have ideas to develop my work. I would have just been stuck drawing leaves close up for the rest of the four weeks I have left. I do not have the time or patience for that. Therefore I decided to think about indistinct again. Whilst I said I couldn't really involve indistinct with photography, I really didn't think about it enough. I didn't think at all about the picture I have already taken and how they clearly relate to distinct. Although the previous pictures I have were taken with the idea of magnification, I believe that they clearly relate to the topic of indistinct. To conclude, I feel really positive and confident about the topic of indistinct.
